How Lucky We Are
I‘ve just been messaging with a friend from our WA platform, sharing our enthusiasm for travelling, and I told him how great it is that we can be ’digital nomads’, doing our online business while enjoying the freedom of travel.
I used to do so many jobs where I was stuck inside buildings for long hours, wanting so much to be out in the sun and leaving only when it was dark already….Pretty depressing!
My only job when I didn’t mind being indoors was teaching English as a foreign language. I had a lot of fun and made some amazing friends.
I am beyond grateful that we have so many possibilities of working online and loving what we do.
I am sharing my thoughts in a little video from this afternoon, while walking through my favourite London square.

Your story reminded me so much of those days when I used to work in a clinical lab—I enjoyed the science and the quiet focus it required, but like you, I spent most of the day indoors and barely saw the sun.
Now that I'm a stay-at-home mom, I’ve found a different kind of joy—one that’s exhausting but incredibly fulfilling. 😊
And like you, I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to build an online business that fits around family life and even allows room for dreaming about future travels. Digital freedom really is such a gift!
