Going the Extra Mile
I guess if you want something really bad you will go the extra mile.
This is a followup up to my blog posted July 10 regarding my progress at WA.
As a retiree on limited income I don't have a working computer at home, I do have one but it crashed just after joining WA but don't have the funds to fix or replace it. I only have an iPhone which I use at home for research which means writing everything down on paper and then taking it to the library where I get to use their computers for 3 hours a day, in 1 hour increments. This is frustrating because I am usually in the middle of something with numerous sites opened trying to do as much work as I can in my 3 hours when I am flagged telling me I only have 5 minutes left before the computer shuts down, so I note all the sites I am working with so I know where to continue when another computer comes available. Some days it taken me between 4 & 5 hours to do 3 hours of work.
My library trips consist of a 2-mile round trip walk, which I don't mind. Total time spent there working since July 10 is 30 hours. I know, I am retired but I have a full time job looking after my 2 year old grandson while the parents are at work. Family comes first.
This is what's happened since July 10.
WA STATS
Helper: 2572 to 565
Creator: 203261 to 1502
Activity: 29466 to 4855
Member Rank: 29502 to 4941
Besides improving by stats at WA, I published 5 posts, 4 have been indexed on Google. Wrote 2 product reviews, signed up with 4 affiliate networks, 2 independent affiliate sites, and added AdSense to my website.
As I am writing this blog from the library and just for curiosity’s sake I just checked my AdSense account and Holy Shoot (I know, that's S--T with 2 Os), I just made my first .94 cents. Boy am I really ecstatic about this!!!!!! I know its not much but, you have to start somewhere. It just shows you, hard work and following the training you will succeed.
I don't want to take up too much of your time, you know what they say "Time is Money"and I am going to celebrate. The library is attached to a mall, I am going out there and have a burger and a beer,
I feel awesome going that extra mile to accomplish my goals.
Ciao for now.
Louis

Congrats on your success! Every step counts! Thanks for posting! I needed your message today. Your message reminded me that we can move mountains through a constant and consistent level of resolve. Keep picking up the pebbles from the mountain until it is no longer there and you have arrived at your destination.
The Romans did it to build their aqueducts.
A man in India created a road in India over 20 years across a mountain so his village would have quick access to the nearest town and its hospital. It now reduces the trip from 80 kilometers to 3 kilometers. He was inspired to do this when he lost his loving wife who needed immediate medical care which was not available in their village.
Thanks Jody from your comments, I really appreciate them.
I keep telling people just follow the training you will get there.
Thanks again

I like your enthusiasm Louis. It must be frustrating at times being kicked off a computer in the middle of research or writing a blog.
I send you best wishes and hope you can soon get back to working at home.
Derek
Thanks for the best wishes. You have no idea how frustrating it gets, I was being polite when I used the word “shoot”
Thanks again Derek
