Wordpress blank space problems
So,
Today has been one of those days. Since last night I have noticed a big blank block at the top of my posts/sites above my menu. Don’t know if it’s an update thing but I’m sure 100% it wasn’t there before.
Now, I know this shouldnt stop my progress or hinder me creating content, but the problem is I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and knowing it’s there now and not knowing how to fix it has had me sat at my laptop going crazyy and cross eyed for almost a whole 24 hours, so that’s a whole twenty four hours I’ve wasted when I could have been creating content!
I know for a fact it shouldn’t really matter as much as it does haha but I am literally So annoyed at it, because I’ve tried child themes, css editing, new themes (annoyingly it Still showed up on the new themes) and even had to email Kyle because I’m so frustrated and perplexed!
I know this is a minor issue but I am a great believer in if I’m going to turn my hand to anything I am going to do it Right, or it’s not worth doing (that’s not always a good thing as you can see lol)
But I will continue on my quest tomorrow and be sure to update if I find out how to fix it, as I actually haven’t found that much training on either here or google that doesn’t involve adding lots of different codes etc to my css and doing a whole lot of editing which is super confusing to a newbie like me! (Not sure if I’m just not searching for the right things or what)
As I said I’ll update When (not if) I sort this problem out, so hopefully it can help others out too in the future because it has been a nightmare to me!
Will try to get back to content tomorrow and not let it distract me too much, but literally it has been breaking my mind today lol!
Ps I made £2.20 on google ads today so at least it’s working! :D

Thanks lesabre, I just know it’s going to be something Really silly! And I’m going to be kicking myself when it’s sorted lol. But we’ll get there won’t we! :) and thanks for the congrats :D adsense only started yesterday so at least it’s a step in the right direction!
I've been giving a lot of feedback to a lot of different web sites and really enjoying doing so. In return I have gotten great feedback to my own web site. They have helped shape my site to what it is today.
I have been giving a lot of comments on different web site posts as requested and enjoyed doing so. I may not be an expert or my interests may not lie in what they may be talking about, but I can get educated and have an opinion on what they are talking about. Comments also help everyone here out a lot.
Sadly however, I have never gotten one comment when I have requested them from accumulating credits for commenting on others sites.
Am I missing something?
Hi, there is a ‘give and take’ comments section that sometimes may get you quicker reaction than using site comments, That’s my experience anyways.
If you want to inbox (private message) me your site I will leave a comment when am back on the laptop tomorrow. I’ll try and sort you out the link to the comments thread too now. :)
Have just sent you the link, try posting your url on there and normally other members are really good at giving comments :) when you leave comments for others too who have posted, they will usually return the favour if you leave your url in the reply.
The give and take section does not use credits it’s just a thread where you can post your url and comment on others too, this does not require credits like the site comments section. :)
The site comments (credit) section can take a bit of time to get comments, but if you post on the thread I just sent you it’s usually a lot quicker.
I think you can set the amount of time in the site comments section so your comments can come in within 7 days. I normally do this when I want some of my comments spread out so not all on the same day, but more regularly I use the give and take comment thread as it’s great to get a boost of comments on a new post. :)
And I didn’t mean to like my own post there but I don’t know how to turn it off. God and I thought I was doing so well! Lol

After adding adsese to my site I had same problem. Look at your site from incognito window and you will see the difference :)
