How To Add Google Adsense To A Second Site

Hi everyone, I just thought I'd do an update on yesterday's post to share with anyone else that may be wondering how to link their Google Adsense to a second site that they also own.

There are two ways I have come across, so if one doesn't work just feel free to try the other! :)

The first way that was I was advised to do this is by simply copying the adsense code from the header of your first site into your second sites header, as the code will remain the same.

But if you're like me and easily confused as where to find your code or for some reason can't get to it lol -

Then the second way would be to log on to your google adsense account, 'add unit' (in the menu to the left) to add your second site and choose what ads you would like to be displayed such as text ads in text ads or image ads, retrieve the code after you’ve gone through choosing the ads (it will show up automatically after you’ve gone through the steps or you can go back and click retrieve code under website address).

Paste this code in your second sites header then go to adsense settings (bottom left of the same menu).

When you click on it to open the menu you will find a link saying 'My Sites' (this is where I messed up last time as I didnt think to check in settings lol)

Simply click on the + icon and add your site and the ads will start showing almost immediately.

This may be pretty simple for some of you already and you may even know a simpler way, but just thought I'd share how I learned in case any other newbies get stuck on it like I did! :)
