Hi everyone,

I was just wondering today, I see a lot of ambassadors and top rankers helping out the newbies like me a great deal and sharing their wisdom and experience.

And I just wonder, how do you do this and fit in your site work etc?!

Are your sites already successful, as in you don’t need to add to them or do you just work around the clock?! :D

I just wondered how it works for you because I spend nearly All my free time on content so I don’t n ow how you guys do it! :D

I try to limit my time in the community to about 1 - 2 hours a day and the rest to my work Louise. But lately some many things have taken time away from WA. I care for my mother and though she is in a Residence for Seniors, it seems to be getting more full time. Also I am still recovery from surgery and it seems somehow I have doctor appointments twice a week. So life have just taken over, and it takes time away from WA. But more specific to your question, I try to fit community work in between the small jobs I do for my site.

Oh no sounds like youve got it all going on! Hope things get easier for you soon. :) I’m starting more to go to the community after I’ve finished my posts too so I know my jobs are done as you said. I guess the more I learn the more I’ll be able to help within the community like you guys! :)

We're all in this together! Glad to help others and share what I know. I love doing it. Though it's actually part of my official 9-5 job doing that, I do it a lot outside of those hours too, because it's just fun for me.

I want to get it 100% I am a rookie.Will be tracked

WA gives you default experience Louise. I see you're going over the 300 mark and your word count is high also. Stellar. You should be an ambassador by the end of the year if not before!

Hi mike, thanks so much! I aspire to be like these WA pros but I have a little way to go first. :) It will be great though to see where I am and how I’ve progressed by the end of the year!
Many thanks,
Louise

I'll be checking with you Louise!

Lol I’m going to give it my best! :D

Sometimes we help others even though we have things we need to do on our own sites, just because we want to help others.

I love helping I remember being new and getting the awesome help and guidance and still do It's my way of giving back what was freely given to me.

This is why it makes me feel good to help newbies too, it’s nice to pay it forward. I’ll probably do it more when I get through bootcamp also as I’m learning new stuff as I go along, so will hopefully be better at it then! :)

I wOrked on my sites first and took every day a quarter to answer or respond what came long... once sites are running hard job is done, besides content

Oh that makes sense. Guess you need to be really time disciplined then! :)

Yes, stay focused... follow lessons, apply and take pauze wIth community...

Thank you for asking Louise

Just focus on one site

Thanks fleeky, I will stay focused. I don’t think I could be fully committed to both at one time as my brain is a little scatty, that’s why I wondered how they do it lol! I do try to help when I can though :)

Hi Louise, sometimes I think you work pretty much around the clock yourself. You have accomplished a lot in a very short period of time.

Hi lesabre thanks for your kindness. :) I do like to put in a few hours a day as I’m quite driven when it comes to doing something. I just wondered how members manage to help other members such as myself out and still work on their own site! I’m so glad they do make the time though as that’s what makes the platform great, because there are so many people willing to help. :)

I generally have a routine to scroll the dashboard once a day to respond if I can help. I do this while working on my own site. However as this is my focus while doing a 100 blog post challenge I am no longer an Ambassador here - and that’s ok, simply how it goes. I help because many have and still do assist me. Probably only 10% of my time I help others the rest is in my site

That sounds fair enough. I think I would help more if I knew what I was doing more lol! But I’m still going through training so find it hard to answer sometimes and just leave it to the pros! :) don’t get me wrong I love to help out when I can but I don’t think I could do both and be great at both things at once.

Always focus on your own training, education and website first. The longer I have been a member here, the more I've learnt and therefore the easier it has become to help others.

As Jay pointed out when you're successfully referring new members to WA and helping them out you naturally rank higher.

The ranking, in my mind, is simply an added bonus and not the major reason why I'm here but we're all different.

Yes, that’s very true too. The ranking isn’t important although it’s nice to see it go down a bit as it means you’re putting the work in! :) but the ambassadors should be proud of themselves for having so much to do and still helping others out. :)
I’m still working on referrals so maybe after that and finishing bootcamp I’ll be able to give it a go! :D
All the best on your site it looks great from what I’ve seen so far!
Louise

They're amazing aren't they? I don't know how they find the time!

Yes that’s why I wondered lol! Allmy free time is taken up by content. But maybe that’s just because I’m new. :)
