A Well Deserved Break - Now How To Get Google Adsense On Your Second Site?
Hi everyone, so yesterday I thought I'd put the laptop away for the day (i will admit i still checked my emails but only a little :D) and take the day off to spend with my partner.
I ended up spending most of the day in the kitchen making canadian pancakes and bacon for breakfast and the lush chicken and chorizo casserole pie picture above, and had a great rest day! :D
Now today I'm going back to the grindstone lol. And have been wondering how I go about getting Goolge Adsense onto my second site.
I have already googled and checked into this for the last week or so, but nothing has come to light as of yet and am wondering if any of you lovely people may have any answers. :)
I have tried 'adding unit' to my google adsense account as instructed but nothing has changed and still have no ads on my second site, so am wondering if I may have missed something?

Hi Louise,
So, I just did the copy and paste to my 3rd site.
Went to my first site to see how it was set up - I used Custom HTML instead of a text widget. Copied the code and pasted it in the area I wanted on my other site (which was in the footer area).
I don't like ads running through my posts so I prefer putting it in either a side bar or footer area.

Ah, if I understand correctly, you have AdSense on one site and want to add the same to a second site?
Well, all I did was copy and pasted the widget from one site to the other. Working fine. I have it on 2 sites and am going to try it on my 3rd. I hate complicated so just copied the code.
Let me know if that works or if you get easier suggestions.

I actually didn't think of this due to thinking they would be separate codes lol. I did go to settings, earlier after trying the other way mentioned as that wasn't working for me and 'added a site'. I never saw that option before as never went in to settings 'doh'! lol
Am not sure if its only because its just been set up but i do now have ads on the header of my site but nowhere else (I opted for in text picture ads). So although it has made a slight difference maybe I just need to wait a while for more to show up.
Thanks so much for the info, if this doesn't start working correctly in the next few hours I will just do as you suggested. :)
Perfect. Like I said, it was nice and easy and worked for me but maybe someone else here will have a better suggestion.

Yes I was told to add as a new unit which I did and added the code generated to my second site but nothing has happened yet and has been almost a week i think.
Ah okay. Maybe it is a different way but I use Auto Ads and I created a new URL Group for each of my site. Then one can see if your site has been assigned or not. But it could be totally a wrong way of doing things!
