nothing on the milk carton here... Sorry. LOL
Don't panic,we've all been there. Only a few ever made it to the milk carton though.
Lol..good one..I appreciate your checking to see if I actually made it to the carton. Lol.
Thanks for the encouragement..I am realizing that no matter how thorough you are when going through the process..there are some steps you have to repeat and repeat....and maybe still not get it.
But, you have convinced me that I am not alone . So, I'm gonna lighten up and get back to work.
Thanks again forthe support and for making me laugh!
Lola
Very true, It's a new world. Takes a while before we get the hang of it and can build a great website. Two steps forward, one step back. That's progress! ;)
Have a great weekend.
Ron.
Hi there bsmith. I want to thank you for the encouragement and support. I was at my wits end and realize I was not totally focused.. I was restless and getting more and more frustrated.
I hope I am doing better than I think/feel. Time and perseverance will prove reward.
Thanks again. You are very kind.
Lola
I do hope things have improved at least a little by now! Sometimes you just have to walk away! :)
Hi Christabelle .
A new day...a new opportunity. I was just getting so frustrated, I didn't even know what the heck I was trying to do! Lol...I thought "where did you go, lola? If you haven't gone anywhere, maybe you should"!...
Any way, thanks for the rational advice to "just walk away". Ha...I couldn't even figure that out!
Onward I go...
Lola
Hi Lola,
We have all had those days! Don't feel bad!
It is amazing how just walking away can make a marvelous difference!
Now with a fresh beginning it will go so much better!
Christa :)
Hi Lola, can you please hold on while your other self-arrives :). Don't worry, we all lose ourselves somewhere along the line when we try to do something new. Just ask, loads and loads and loads of questions until you get an understanding of the problem is all about.
Failing that just post another blog and we will come running :D.
Lis.
PS: you can always (private mail) PM someone if you are truly stuck and we can simplify things for you and really help you out.
Well, the "other self" has come crawling home ...ready to walk slowly and calmly onto the path of continued learning...knowing there will be more bumps and roadblocks and detours along the way.
I so appreciate your encouragement and support. I get myself too worked up when I can't see results of my efforts. I now realize how so very different the processes and approachs are on this new journey that will help me create my future.
I will jump back into my work and ask more questions along the way.
Thank you, again.
Lola
Hi Loes. .. wow, thanks for your comment. I dont know who I think I am, that I could grasp all this material so immediately . YIKES!!
So here I go again, a little bit wiser since my mini flip out...Ha.
Thank you for sharing your experience with me...it sure helps.

I finished the training Lola and then repeated most of it again. Some of it I couldn't even remember doing but I know I had done it because I went through it one step at a time - but there is so much to take in and it does get daunting at times. As suggested, maybe have a break like we do when doing a crossword - then come back and it will hopefully be a bit clearer. Best of luck. Wendy.
Hi Lola. We all remember our first month. It is the biggest mountain to climb. But it should get better after that. So we are here to help you thru this part of your journey. Please post what you are struggling with and we will help you thru it. I'm sure you'll feel better after we fix things one at a time.
Hang in there, Lola,
I added to that statement (and I wish I still had the poster of it my sister made)
"HELP!!!!
I' m Lost. I've gone to look for myself. If I should return before I get
PLEASE ask me to WAIT
I really need to talk to myself!!!"
Best wishes
Edie
Take a deep breath, let it out slowly, then go do something completely different for a little while. In the meantime, your subconscious mind will be working on everything you've learned so far. Pretty soon you'll find yourself drawn back to it, eager to fill in the missing links that will further connect all the dots. In other words, it's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, and usually a little break is all that is needed. :-)
Great advice, Steve. I did walk away, into some calm and quiet space, took that deep breath and emerged better for having done so.
You are absolutely right, during that time, my subconcious was busy planting ideas and pulling things together. I really felt it this morning and have outlined some thoughts on my next steps.
Yes, all it took to overcome being overwhelmed was to walk away and unclutter my mind. I knew that, I just couldn't allow myself to stop.
You have helped me greatly and I am grateful.
Lola
Sometimes a little distance or change of pace is the absolute best thing to do, because the best insights or ideas can come when we are least focused on solving them. One proven technique is to review something right before going to sleep, and then the brain works on it overnight. In any case, welcome back!

Lola, I'm lost! What about the milk carton?
They sometimes put pictures of missing people on milk cartons, or at least they used to. The "Have you seen me?" ads is what Lola was referring to, as a reference to disappearing from WA for a well-deserved break. We found the milk carton, now we're just waiting on Lola!
Got the gist, unacquainted with the slang but very grateful for the teaching. I now know and hope Lola is back!
Hi Steve.
Thank you so very much for your support during my mini breakdown. I'm my own worst enemy and sometimes sabotage myself. Your words of wisdom help greatly. Thanks for helping kpatrice out regarding the "milk carton" reference...not too dated, huh? Lol
Lola
Hi Lola, no problem! We've all pulled our hair out and ran screaming into the night at some point, lol. I was trying to remember the last time I saw a missing kids milk carton, but since they are usually plastic now, it's been a while!
