Sales are Slow But My Website is Converting. Any Insights?

I was going to post my question in chat but decided to create a post because this requires a little background information.
This past June, I started earning money as an affiliate marketer for the first time ever. I had tried on and off for 18 months, and things finally came together. I had six sales.

The following month in July, I had two sales in the beginning of the month.
I have now gone for 30 days with no sales but there were 61 affiliate links clicked from my website. So, I am doing my job: I am getting people to the vendor's website. For whatever reason, no one is buying this month. These are not particularly high-ticket items. They are courses (digital products) that cose $10 - $15.
I just started making money, so I have no idea if this is normal or not. I remember Jay said in our training on Friday that once you get people to the vendors' websites, it's pretty much out of your hands. Should I just keep at it because I know my website is converting? Or do I need to investigate?
My conversion rate is around 4%, so maybe I'm close to another sale(?). I would appreciate any insights from those who have a website that is converting as I'm not sure what my new normal is.
