I'm in the Top 200!

It was a pleasure to log in this morning and discover that I am in the top 200! It is truly an honor, considering how much the Wealthy Affiliate community has given me. I have kind of a rambling post today but wanted to cover the highlights as I see them.
Success Can Take Time But WA Training Helps
I joined nearly two years ago, and it took me a solid 18 months to make my first sale online. Prior to that, I had been trying to crack the code to making money online since 2009. Had I not discovered WA, it would have, I'm sure, taken me another nine years.
I posted recently about sales being slow, but I logged in and discovered that another decent-sized sale rolled in. The takeawa? The stuff they teach here works. It really does. You just have to complete the training and put in the time.
That said, we still have to find our own way. No two websites will convert the same users in the same manner. But, here we learn best practices and we support each other through the struggles and the good times.

My Website Makes Money...Now What?
One thing I've noticed is that now that my website is starting to make money, I am actually losing interest in it! I know that sounds crazy, but when you've been at this for nine years, it's possible to get addicted to the struggle and the push.
Listening to one of Jay's trainings recently, he said, if your website isn't making money yet, then you shouldn't pay for XYZ service... and then... it hit me... I have a website that is making money! I was like, oh my gosh, he's addressing me and I can justify that service! I'm in that camp of people!
It's taking some mindset shifts for me to see myself as successful, which I wasn't expecting. I wanted to mention this here, though, because I don't think it's something we talk about often: what do you do when you actually start making money?
Scale and Repeat
You figure out how to scale up. Implement systems that allow you to collect email addresses. Hire out for the niggling tasks that you don't enjoy. Start that YouTube channel! And that's one of the things that I love about WA: there is information here for affiliate marketers at all levels.
I am so proud to be in the top 200 here and want to thank all of you because being in this community is one of my great professional joys. Thanks to those of you who have encouraged me and to those of you who have allowed me to encourage you. Giving back is one of the great joys as well.
