K...guess I'm just going to sit here and stare at this screen for who knows how long before I finally blow past the writer's block that's been continually afflicting me since beginning this program.
I enjoy writing. I have a lot to say, but it doesn't seem relevant to anything that an affiliate would support. I chose a niche that I personally found interesting and wanted to learn more about, but rather than focusing on the fun and fascinating aspects of the niche, I found myself being more concerned about ensuring my content contained enough, but not too many, keywords. I wrote and wrote and wrote, but discovered I was losing interest in my subject matter. Well, that's not entirely accurate. I still like the subject, but I've burned out on trying to get others interested in it.
What I need to begin doing is writing freely without worrying about keywords and how to incorporate links. Once that's accomplished, I can go back through the content and see where links might fit, rather than writing to the links. I am hoping this will rekindle the fire and keep it steadily fueled. I am pretty sure I started out as a pile of sticks drenched in starter fluid, and I'm hoping there's an ember I can fan back to life from that pile of ashes.

I do plan on pursuing a second niche with my husband, and we have been collecting pics and vids in preparation. It involves food, so it will be lots more fun! Really excited about it! And, I'm not going to focus on how fast can I drive traffic so I can make money ASAP by loading the content with keywords and links.
Don't misunderstand, I know these are extremely important to success in this enterprise, but I let them overrun the fun of doing this. And...I will confess that it's my own fault. I lost my "day" job in April, and we live in an expensive state. I had become the primary breadwinner, and my beloved's income isn't sufficient to support our modest lifestyle. So yes, I panicked and tried to do too much too quickly in hopes of gleaning quick results.
Anyway, thank you for being out there supporting, guiding, encouraging and listening. A prayer or two would be welcomed as well. :-)
