What old gal? 57 years young and you feel like an old gal!

I'm 64 and having my 2nd childhood here.

I met up with a friend who is 71. We both play basketball at a public indoor gym every weekend, with guys around our age. We were on the same team and lost to some youngins ( your age ) so we sat out to watch a new team challenge the winner we; lost to.

I asked Chris, don't you think you we should give this up?

He looked at me and said, "No Frank, it's all in the head!"

It was, to me, so profound I never thought of that. I know, as soon as my body tells me to stop I will. That I believe will make me stop. I am lucky so far. My age is not a factor. I love basketball so long as I don't injure myself and God lets me.

Yes, Chris is right, to do what you enjoy and not let age be a factor. Now with that being said, I will get hurt and regret everything I said. Heck, I will live the moment.
