Disappear for Awhile | Unplug to Get Plugged In

In today's ever-connected world, I often find that my attentiveness is fraying at the edges. The constant buzz of notifications and the relentless influx of information can be overwhelming. It's at this juncture I realize the significance of pressing pause.

Unplug from the endless scrolling: it's an essential step I choose to nurture my mental well-being. Eluding the digital world, even temporarily, can recalibrate my sense of balance and clarity.

Though I will be taking a heavy disappearing act journey for 6 months, that doesn't mean stepping away from activities that continue to grow my business.

I will still interact with this platform and post on social media for business only.

What it does mean is:

  • No social media for non-business activity
  • Complete focus on physical training and clean nutrition
  • Meditation, affirmations, and visualization daily
  • No socializing with others publicly or in my home
  • Total involvement with my spouse, children and dogs
  • Strict schedule of daily activities for work
  • Adherence to keeping my home and car clean

There's substantial evidence suggesting that high levels of screen time and lack of self-care are associated with a range of negative feelings, including increased stress and anxiety.

I acknowledge that stepping back from any outside influence of my well-being presents an opportunity for my brain to recover from unnecessary input. Incidentally, the mind is afforded the luxury of slower thoughts and deeper reflection, paving the way for increased creativity and the body will recover from any bad habits that lack fueling properly and proper training exercises.

Consider this: solitude doesn't have to equate to loneliness. Instead, it offers a chance to recalibrate one's internal compass. By willingly placing the world on mute, I create a space that's mine alone, fostering a zone of introspection where I can confront my thoughts and feelings without the usual worldly distraction.

This practice paves the way for the next phase of my personal evolution. What follows is a deep dive into activities that foster growth. They revolve around silence from distractions while working on oneself, engaging in healthful practices, and dedicating time to close relationships and professional ambitions. Here begins the journey toward self-improvement and crystal-clear focus.

Unplugging the unnecessary to get plugged into creativity, growth, and health!

With love,

~Lisa Renee

Yes, it is!๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hello! I have had my site that I worked on for a little over a year. Wrote 230 articles my first year. I did make no money monthly. I had like 18 plug-ins and in the last couple weeks have removed all but 5 plug ins. So I have seen my site go from poor to good by removing many plug-ins. They say 5 plug-ins is all anyone needs. I had taken a couple months rest from my site. I'm trying to think of ways to get this site perked up and running correct. I have given the thought of starting a second site and concentrate on that a few months and here and there go back to the original site. Good luck to whatever you do on the web site ideas you may have. Thought I'd mention a couple things that I thought may help. Take care any input would be good to hear about.

Wow, 230 articles in a year on one site is awesome! I average 1-2 a week so about 78 in a year. I am considering starting a 2nd site as well. Just don't want to get side-tracked yet.

I wish you well in your endeavors!

Hi Lisa

Sometimes we need a well-deserved break from all the digital noise and chaos. ๐Ÿ‘

Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yes, Frank, we do. I find every year or so, more like every 2 years I need to do this to regain ultimate clarity and creativity.
