December 2019 income report
Another month has flown by and this month, really, I did almost nothing in terms of content creation (apart from a very little bit at the start of the month) and not much on social media, taking a complete break from December 21st until yesterday, January 5th. It's been a really tough month, to be honest, with family, work and financial issues all combining to keep me away from my site.
Outgoings for December 2019: none, nothing, nada. So that's good!
Income:
WA comments: £12.05
Ads:
Google AdSense: £5.40
PubMedia Ads: £2.08
Shareaholic: £0.66
Affiliate sales: nothing, which is a disappointment. I realize I missed a huge opportunity in December to create gift-related content which might have led to some sales.
Total: £19.53 (USD 24.41)
This was from 1200 page views, down from 1455 in November, so I was getting around 40 views a day despite doing practically nothing to promote it. And I've learned a lot of valuable lessons by just watching what other people in my niche did at Christmas.
Nearly six months into this WA adventure, I have a decent site that's getting some traffic and positive feedback, including some organic comments (which is great).
So a big thank you to everyone here at WA for all your support and encouragement over these first six months and I hope to interact with you more in the coming months than I have done of late.

That's fantastic Lisa, congrats. Your site is really starting to get some traction and a 1000+ visitors every month at this stage is something to be hugely proud of 👍 Really great work!

It can be hard to keep all the skittles lined up at this time of the year. You have done well.
All progress is good progress.
Best wishes for the coming year, as you grow that income, Lisa.
