Social Media - What to choose?
Hello everyone!
I have never written here on WA a lot like some other members I am seeing doing it. Today I decided to write something. This is something that worries me and I would be happy to hear other members' experiences.
A week ago my Twitter account was blocked without a reason. They say I pretended to be someone else or something like that. I never have done that, that is for sure. But somebody did. My Twitter account was hacked two times and my name and picture were changed to something else. It also seemed that somebody was sharing something in this hacked account.
I still could get in there and I tried writing a few times to Twitter for them to unblock it, but it was unsuccessful. They said I broke the rules and that is.
To be honest, Twitter was my favorite social media for my website. Now I am not sure which social media to focus on for my website. Any ideas? I would be happy to hear the opinions of our WA members. :)

Just open a new account with a different name Linda. You can have several accounts if you want to. Make sure you have a secure password and change it often.
Otherwise you could try Pinterest. That is a good one for business and bringing traffic.
It is not a bad idea. Need a different e-mail address too.
Twitter really seems to need to change password every day or something like that. :)
Thanks! Pinterest was my second favorite, now I don't do much there for 6 months for sure. Need to go back there.
Not sure if I wanna Twitter anymore if they can so easily shut it down. Don't want to try to do everything from the beginning there. Better some new social media sites. :)
well if you can not open a new account for Twitter,
Join all the other ones!
I mean all of the social media platform,
and then after a while,
choose and spend more time on the one that brings more traffic to your Site!

Yeah, I was thinking. I have other ones, but I never did much in there. I was mostly focused on Twitter ;(
I can't make a new Twitter account. However, I can use the old one that I created 10 years ago, I guess. Didn't try it yet. :)

I have a Twitter account but I don't use it for my business. I prefer Pinterest and Instagram. Jim
Nice. I have Pinterest, but didn't use it for a long time now and need to change in old postings, because it shows the wrong URL these days :(

Wow, Linda!! sorry to hear that. I do use Twitter at times especially when I am in the Gulag in Facebook. I have even been in Twitter Gulag a year or so ago and it was because of reporting the TRUTH that the mainstream media would not report. When I get my hand slapped it is usually for 60-90 days. This gives me the opportunity to focus on keywords that will bring my site up in rankings. and I have also started talking about my sites more and more in public.

Hi, Sonny! Thanks for your comment! :) I know about reporting something that is the truth and these social media don't like so I don't do it. I see. But Twitter blocked my account permanently.
About writing more content, I think that is my problem, I am not writing as much I could. I have a lot of time to do it, but I don't.
The thing about Twitter to me is the simplicity of the Posts. Short and Sweet. Get to the point Fast. Use the different Affiliate Links and add a picture. there are plenty of places to get a new email address. I currently have 7 I use for FB.

Yeah, I know. I had okay following there and I don't want to focus on that a lot again to lose it again. :(
That is keeping me from getting Twitter again, maybe I should and it could be even better than the last one.
