Purpose and a burning desire
If you have trouble to be consistent and absolute about your dreams and goals, then it could be because you are missing a deep burning desire and purpose to receive and achieve your goals in your life.
Only with a burning desire to gain the riches and fortunes you seek, you will backup your actions and motivation with enough energy to make a change for yourself.
The Idea that you can raise yourself above the noise, and be a change for yourself is nothing new. That you, doesn't matter where you are in life today, can achieve that anytime you want simply by making a decision, is the best kept secret which is no secret at all, on our world.
If you are willing to pay the price of success, you can achieve success, in the magnitude and quantity you like to have it. It is all starting within you and your thoughts. Will be expressed through your actions and will be achieved with absolute persistence and on ongoing motivation which is created inside you through your burning desire.
Find your Life's Purpose. Everybody has one.

Life's Purpose. Yep, follow your heart is my version of that... Good one, good reminder. As Zen master Osho says when standing on the edge of the abyss (choices/where to go): just follow your heart - and if u don't know where your heart is, just jump. It'll be beating so fast you can't miss it.
Thank you for this Stefan, i agree if you have a desire for something like success then you have to work hard to achieve it, but it will be worthwhile.
