I'm a total newbie at Internet Marketing, but am determined to figure it out. My goal is to develop a business that I can operate from anywhere that I can access the Internet, and leave the cubicle where I currently work forever.
My name is Laura. When I first joined WA, my initial profile was very brief, and I think that probably is because I'm a private person who doesn't think it's wise to broadcast my personal business out to the Internet. That's probably why I've had zero interest in FB or other social media. But that doesn't mean that I can't share a few things.
I was married for 31 years before my husband passed away. I am now in another relationship that will likely lead to marriage. I have always been interested in creative expression in many avenues such as photography, painting, doodling. I also love reading.
Whenever I see something, my first reaction is: I can do that. I once slip-covered my sectional couch. I'm not a seamstress by any means. I didn't have a pattern, I just measured the cushions, sewed it up and it was great. I haven't sewed anything else since. LOL
You would think that with an "I can do that" opinion, that I would be a huge Internet success, but far from it. Even with the excellent guidance here at WA, I have allowed myself to get too overwhelmed in the volume of information. Time to get back to the basics.
