When did you really start moving at WA?
I set my goals on May 11th; 71 days ago, and counting. I was just curious about WA. Not anymore, this is real. BUT, when you are a newbie, I mean a real one; it is so difficult to get started. Just a mistaken click and it´s over.
A lockdown, no traffic; and only me, with a beautiful sunset helped me clear my mind. By the way, this is a pic of Panama Bay seen from Casco Viejo two days ago. Some of you might know the famous touristic area.
A week ago, (day 64) someone was asking about GSC, and I asked to myself, what the hell that means! A barebone newbie question. I googled, and there it was, "Google Search Console". That day, I set a goal. YES, you have the answer. SET the GSC. At least I will have it set up. No idea how it would work.
When it comes to lessons here at WA, I tend to read the lesson first, and then the videos, trying to go exactly how the lessons are given. I don´t skip any lesson. By level three of lesson 2, I was stuck. I mean stuck. I had only 6 post on my webpage. Not close enough for affiliate programs. If I could have had 12 at least. Skip the lessons or not. If someone could have told me exactly how many post I should have had for that specific lesson. But wasn´t my case.
So, I focused on CONTENT. The excitement that google had indexed my posts had lessen my frustation.
Three days ago, (day 68), just for curiosity; I entered GSC. I had been playing around with it on its basics. I had seen Jay´s live class about it, and gave a try.
My Average CTR (Average Click-Through Rate) is good. No affiliate programs, YET. No more curiosities. This is real, and I need a strategic plan, NOW. Is this is me, really? Is that the way we should be talking here between each other? YES. The real stuff.
There is movement going on.
My friends, How many posts do I need? I have at this moment 19 of 19 posts all indexed. Some say that 40 post is required to go for affiliate programs.
The real purpose of this blog, is to make clear how important is focusing on CONTENT, and follow the lessons without skipping. Make sure to have enough posts before going to affiliate programs. And yes, curiosity is good, but with an overview of what it is ahead.
A sunrise is so beautiful, as that day, but who knows what the day might bring.
