Success: First commission and first deal!

My website will be 2 months old in 6 days, and I have already made my first commission from Amazon!
Someone bought a computer monitor from my amazon link, although it was not the one I recommended and linked in my post, however it still counts since it happened from my link!
The price of the monitor is $200 so I guess my commission is $8 if it's 4% right?
And another good news I have is that I was interested to make a review of one laptop which would fit in my website and my readers would love to hear about that product.
But I had a brilliant idea instead of making a review and collecting commissions from affiliate, I contacted the company asking if I could get a free sample in exchange for a review of the product and promotion of their company on my website.
They agreed and we are sorting out details, I will just cover the shipping!
The product is the laptop, and it will be my pleasure to review it and get one for free for just reviewing it. :)

And I contacted one blog to pitch a guest post, and it's going to happen after I brainstorm many ideas for the post and they will pick one out.
My website is iAppleRebel .com and it's not even 2 months old.
In the last 30 days my website had 325 sessions in which 68 of them were organic.
And in the last 30 days my website had 1.534 views, 504 of them were organic.
Although, I don't even have any post on Google's first page. I have many of them on second or third page.
I lately lost a little bit of motivation because I didn't have many ideas for new posts but after this good news I am full of motivation again.
I write 3 posts a week so I always need to come up with new ideas and sometimes I don't but if that happens to you it's okay.
A good relax, keyword research and I am back on the track!

I am currently on the Course 5 Lesson 9, and this first commission really surprised me today when I logged on my Amazon account. It's a huge motivation.

I had doubts in the beginning but not anymore, keep working hard.
Another good tip I have is to keep yourself around motivating quotes as much as you can. They help a lot :)
