Loving the Activity on the Southern Irish Sea

Hey I was down on the southern Ireland sea today and was beach combing with my kids when a wonderful stray local border collie came up to us and started picking up rocks on the beach as if to say,"please throw one for me, better yet, do you have a ball?" I've gotta go get a ball and carry it with me so I'll have it next time he comes around. He came down to meet on the beach another time while we were power kiting and as the kite bit the dust, and the sea waves gobbled up my foil and strings, he ran over to try and pick up the edge of it from the breaking waves, we ended up nicknaming him power. What a cool dog he is. Yesterday he came up to our front door so the kids went out to play with him for a few minutes then after saying hello, off he went again. I love rural Ireland. :)

I would love to see it! My mother's family came to the US from Ireland around the turn of the last century. They were from Sligo. How wonderful it would be to visit the ancestral farm.
Stay well and have a great night.

Went right through Sligo a couple weeks ago taking a bus up to northwest part of Sleive league area. Ireland is great nice people not a lot of sun this time of year, getting to me a little I must admit. But you are right it would be nice for you to do that trip. Get that pen out and gotta planning ok? :)

Definitely get a ball! He sounds like fun!

That's so lovely. Get a ball!

Great store. :)

Sorry meant great story.

Truly funny

Sounds like a fun dog. Once spent two weeks in a place called Skerries. A seaside town, with lots of jellyfish.

What a nice outing for you and the kids. Do you ever find black shark teeth? They are all over the place in Florida where my mom lives. The black ones are ancient. If you find a white one, you need to look up and make sure the shark is not nearby.

Hi there

I live in Co. Cork, Southern Irl, so I guess I must be pretty close.
You are enjoying the hospitality and scenery , I suspect
Cheers PB
