Need to prioritize my time!

I know what I need to do, but I just need to say it out loud as it seems telling myself in my head is not creating the change I need right now. Please bear with me as I throw this out there.

I am finding difficulty in prioritizing the time I spend when I sit down to work on Wealthy Affiliate. I desire to do it all so I can assure success. I am finding myself distracted from the lessons by reviewing and commenting on other people's websites.

The sites I have reviewed to date have been really good. So good that I spend hours reading many of the blog posts, and perusing all the pages. Next thing I know, it is way past time to get to bed so I can work my job the next day and I haven't even accomplished any of the training modules.

Reviewing other websites certainly has value in providing ideas for my own site. I can see that I have a great deal of work to do in building out my site. Starting now, I resolve to work first on completing the next level of education through Wealty Affiliate before I review more sites.

LeeAnn,

The time will come when reviewing others websites is alright
but for now you should be concentrating on your own - to
make sure you do this set a timer for each task - divide your
time with what you want to accomplish each day - as you
begin a task set the timer when it goes off - move on to the
next task - you will get more accomplished this way and not
let yourself become distracted into reading others websites
to the point of not completing your own tasks and goals :)

I have learned this from other members here in WA and it
sounds ridiculous but it seriously works :)

Hope this helps you :)

Thank you for the feedback and tip. I will certainly give the timer a try.
Sure love the cute little puppy face!

LeeAnn,
Thank you - it results in time management that eventually you
do without it - great little tool :)
