More Site Trust.

A month ago tomorrow I had blogged about finally getting some site trust. It was 10%. I was under the impression that I had to have at least 50 post before I'd see any site trust.

Well today I posted my 40th article and my site trust is now at 20%...

Besides posting today, I set up my sitemap. I'm pretty sure that had something to do with site trust. But I really can't swear to it. If anyone knows for sure if that is a possibility, do tell.... as I am sure that others would like to know so that they can set up a sitemap if they haven't already done so.

it takes time to build the site trust as your site matures it will steadily go up also when comments start coming to

I could always use more comments... but then again who couldn't!

you can request them on here

I don't generally get takers on my request, I will generally post on a few from the forum, but I mainly go to the comment site, and request them there. They appear to be of better quality comments there.

the comment site is the best option sorry your not getting other feedback from the comment thread though think that is being done away with

no worries, I still go in there and visit others websites and leave them comments, I just don't request them from there, and most of the time I don't even tell them that I had posted on their site.... my way of paying it forward ;)

I agree that is what I do,

So much to learn!

me too!

Site trust is just the age of your site. You will gain 10 percent a month.

So you will gain trust even if you never post anything? So basically, it is of no use to us... correct?

As your site gets older you will gain more trust from the search engines. This will help your blogs rank higher. It is just a measurement of your site age as compared to others. Proper use of keywords and information on your blogs will be of more benefit when the site is newer.

I gotcha, thank you!!!

Congrats :)

I think it has something to do with the sitemap, but I can't prove it.... yet... but thanks.

No problem. I wish there was a way to increase the site trust by more than 10% every month. As far as I know it's based on age and usefulness.

I agree... oh well it is what it is!
