Yes a lot has changed here plus not only do you have the hubs you can also use the niche finder tool found on our left-hand side dashboard and get more ideas not only for niches but also on specific topics relating to your current niche.

When you find those you can add the main keyword of tht niche idea to your hubs category and gain further ideas for posts to write about.
