Search for Pinterest in the search box up top here. There are some great posts on using it to promote your site.
My feeling is handle the basics first. More than one website, good keyword research, regular blog posts and some traction in the search engines.
Then and only then create a Facebook fan page and use it to promote. Worry it to death.
Then do Pinterest.
And so on.
To be honest, I don't use social networks much either, for me it's 90% blogging and getting free traffic on Google and other 9% or more advertising on search engines. It's not a big deal if you omit this, you can always come back to it later Maria.
I have seen a bunch of people who just started in Pinterest and are having great success at driving traffic to their sites.. I am a newbie to Pinterest but I like it way better than facebook, instagram, and twitter.

Hello friends!
I asked a friend in WA about adding Amazon reviews to my webiste, and he reccomended me to take screenshots since copy-pasting them from Amazon can be seen
Hi - I am sorry to have to advise you that this is not permitted. It is specifically covered in Amazon's terms of service. (Number 28 if you're interested!)
" you will not display or otherwise use any of our customer reviews or star ratings, in part or in whole"
I re-write the reviews, for example, by saying " several customers have noticed that the shelf is a little flimsy"
Another thing that you may not be aware of, is that you cannot say what the price is on Amazon, because it can fluctuate.
They don't make it easy do they?
Please listen to what Diane says, Maria. If you ignore Amazon's terms of service you can expect to not be paid by them.
Oh gosh, thanks for letting me know that. I'll proceed and remove that section from my site.
Thank you Diane for clarifying Amzon's rules on customer reviews. Very helpful for me. Luckily, I have only done this in one post so not much to edit.
I have added portions of Amazon reviews into a few of my blogs to help get my word count up. I selected a few positive and a few negative reviews for balance and made sure to note that these were reviews off Amazon. The concern about duplicate content is real so I don't add Amazon reviews that often and only in a portion of my blog.
As you start writing more and more, it gets easier to hit word counts so you won't need to rely on Amazon comments in the long run.
Good luck and much success to you.
If you are doing a product review, then yes add screenshots of testimonials and reviews from amazon as these validate what you are writing about to help people

Adding amazon reviews or 'testimonials' good idea?

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a great night :)
I kinda have a concern, I'm taking the training and I'm setting up my account in CJ affiliate, however, it's as
I had $2000 plus payments pending from Google AdSense and it was held up because I didn’t give them my bank account info. As soon as I did that the money was in my account within days.
In our new normal commercial world we need to provide this kind of information. Fortunately I subscribe to Identity Theft Protection as well as a service that provides me with unlimited access to lawyers all for under $50 a month. This gives me peace of mind.
If I get screwed, I’ll not loose a single penny. And the lawyers will fight to restore my credit and identity if that gets compromised.
Make sure you protect yourself from this kind of potential fraud.
All the best to you.
Edwin
I run into a problems I just seen after becoming a premium member of Fee charges … "Cross Border Fee, or Foreign Transaction Fees? I noticed this on my card, I am trying to trace this transaction down before I have to put a stop on my account and let the card company investigate where it is coming from, this will put my business etc. in a situation. This will re-direction all of my payments, too much of a headache.
Hi - WA is based in Canada, which is perhaps why you may have to pay a fee. For example, I am in the UK and have to pay a foreign transaction fee on my premium membership subscription.
I struggled with the same thing! I'm okay with amazon associates having my usual bank account because amazon has all the cards anyway but I wasn't so sure about other affiliate programs. I ended up getting a separate account with a prepaid card (Chime) and used those account details. None have asked for my SSN yet but Verblio (content mill) needs an I9 form if you make a certain amount in a year so I ended up getting an EIN to use for that a couple of years ago. I would probably use that if an affiliate program required an I9 to pay out.
Hey Maria, I do have a PayPal account and payments get there well with no problem. You need to choose one way that you want to receive your commission (PayPal, a check or direct deposit into your bank account).
To me, PayPal is the most secure way, but don't get to fast like a check on mail or even faster like a direct deposit. This is a decision that only you can make dear.
Cheers to your success,
Telma
That is the way pretty much all affiliate programs work. They need your information so they can pay you and make sure your ssn is credited properly. They have to be safe to be in business.
Many will use paypal to pay you or they will send you a check or they will direct deposit into your bank account.
By the way CJ is very hard to get into.
And welcome to WA. You joined on my birthday so I am here to help you any time:)
Yes. There are tons of them. Many independent affiliate programs use paypal.
You should continue to follow the training and you will see many more to sign up for.
I don't want to encourage you to jump ahead or you will have issues later.
You can search on Google with the following search term and you will see tons of them:
"affiliate programs that pay instantly with paypal 2018"
You don't need the quotes when you do the search.
