Page Content Conundrum
I have been waging wars with myself over the set up for my site. I finally just put up a few blank pages and put an under construction banner on them for filler so that I could get a skeleton up. Try to flesh it out later. The problem seems to be that the more I look around at other sites the more I feel like I am in over my head. I guess I am feeling over whelmed. I can talk about this content for years with a person one on one, feeling authoritative and confident. I know my stuff, I've done research and have lived it. This is a fairly subjective subject matter and other people have other views and when I go to their sites I guess I just question myself.
I want to spend my day off getting significant content pages up, my recipes page, my reviews page, I need to get the diet page up too because that one is going to have sub pages. There is so much to say but every time I sit down to write I just blank. Maybe writing content pages after an eleven hour day just isn't going to work out so well. I should try getting up before work to write pages.

Hi. Here's my suggestion, take the under construction sign down (I'm not a fan of them and often don't go back). If you don't have your About Me page done do that. People want to know who you are and why you've started this site. And invite them to come back.
And then take that passion you've shown in this blog and write one on your website. Maybe even outline what folks will see when they do come back. Not sure what you have in mind with your pages, if you will have a blog for example. Hope this helps.
Lairel, I did the same thing when I started. Sometimes it is easier to build one page at a time. I had to delete all my framework and work one at a time. Eventually, you will get the layout you want that works for you. Try to take it one step at a time.

Hi, I agree with Rick. Get rid of the construction. You know, I can talk your socks off one on one, but if you put a pen in my hand or a keyboard, I clam up. So, lately I started writing like I was talking and I've become a little more productive. Good Luck.
