My Progress...Month 3

My progress have been slow. Yesterday made month 3 here at WA. I have learned many things from my first day. This is a wonderful place to be and so much to learn.

Between my health problems and my husbands health problems my progress have been slow. I had to take my husband to urgent care this afternoon. He had a heart attack a couple of weeks before I started with WA. His progress of getting better has also been slow. He has an appointment for an ultrasound to see where or why hes peeing blood. So far there is no infection. Just peeing red wine even though he doesn't drink any. Doctors think it might be from the blood thinners but he wants to run more tests.

Just more stress to deal with at home. Back to WA...I am going to try to put more effort into producing much more posts and improving on my site.

Taking one step at a time I will climb up this difficult hill of mine. Thank you for being very supportive in our WA group. I appreciate all the support and love here.

I hope your husband gets better and my prayers are with him.

You are not 'slow'...you are taking care of family first..

Thanks!

I just had made a reply to someone's post.....when life seems to give you a roadblock, make it a stepping stone instead....

My thought s and prayers go out to you and your husband. We have been where you are ... so I understand the stress and distractions! All is great on our front now ... but it was a long road back! If you need anything just ask! M

Thanks Melody! He had his heart attack in early August and he seems to have been bouncing right back by watching his diet and lost 20 lbs in the first six weeks after his heart attack. He's taking about 12 different pills don't know how he keeps it straight. Now the doctors don't know why he has blood in his urine but they suspect it's the blood thinners. He's in better spirits now.

After 5 years ... I am now off all my perscription meds. It can be done. Diet, exercise, attitude all play a part. I swear by cococnut oil ... I use it for all cooking. When I switched to that ... my numbers really started improving. M

Our prayers are with you and your husband Judy.

Take it day by day Judy, not a race here...just go at a comfortable pace and keep up the good work. :))

Hi Judy,
My prayers to your husband. I hope the doctors are doing somethign about the blood thinners because that could make him anaemic as well from losing blood.
You know what, many people could learn from you on how to care for a family member in critical care.
Do you think you can blog about it and ask other WA community members to comment, give support, advise, ask questions?
This allows you to post about what you do everyday while you care for your husband.
I hope you find this a fair comment, if not please forgive me.
Have a nice day

Take you time there is no rush to do any thing other than take care of you family. May God be with you in these troubled times.

Hey Judy, I know how you feel but just remember it's not a rat race here. You have to relax and be cool. Things will get better.
Take care ! :)

Sorry to hear about your husband. He's your #1 right now. It's not a race and we'll be here down the road. Keep your priorities where they are. Sending prayers your way.

Thanks Debbi. I'm now taking my time with WA and putting my husband first.

Sending prayers your way, Judy. I'm sure your will be able to spend more time on WA soon!

Thanks Sandra! Life sends us these curve balls at times we don't need them. I'm trying to spread my time helping my husband out as much as possible and WA lately will have to come when I have the spare time. Maybe once things are stabilized I will be able to spend more time on here.

There is no hurry to get to this, take care of yourself and your husband first!

Learning this stuff is not a race. When time permits spend time with it. Priorities change over time. It sounds like yours are in the right place for this point in time.

Right now I need to put my husbands health first. I am taking one day at a time. When time permits I will spend it on WA. Life just always throws something at us when we are not looking.
