Happy Thanksgiving for all!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here at WA. Today has been a very busy day getting ready for our big feast.
What are you thankful for?
I know that I have many things that I'm thankful for this year. My grandson has entered into this world of ours on June 23rd. So I'm very thankful he's here with us.
I'm also thankful for my husband to be here celebrating thanksgiving. He had a heart attack on August 5th. He has lost 20 plus lbs since his heart attack. He has been following doctor orders very closely. He has completely changed his diet so he can continue to be here with us. It has a been a rough few months. He has been recovering very slowly. He continues to have a clog in his heart.
I'm also very thankful for my life. I didn't have any life threatening episodes but I do have chronic pain. I'm lucky f I have a few pain free days! Having rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia has not been easy.l
I'm also thankful for all my four adult kids and three grandchildren. There are many starving children in this world! I pray that we can feed these starving children.
So with that in mind, I'm very thankful for the food we will have at our table tomorrow!
I hope everyone here will have a great feast and enjoy the time with your families!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Hello Judy,
Although from a foreign country, where we dont celebrate Thanksgiving, I just wanted to offer my reciprocal best wishes and blessings to you and all fellow WAers in the US for today!
I suppose the nearest similar holiday we have here in South Africa is Heritage day on the 24th of September, when we celebrate the cultural diversity of our "rainbow nation".
