Success is within reach

So I am ending my first week with Wealthy Affiliate. I'm still getting the hang of things but I did finally find the right template for my website.

Success is within reach for everyone. I don't think that many people realize just how much they are even capable of doing. I was getting my morning coffee this morning and while I was waiting, Sean, the barista said something that I would never imagine him saying.

He has worked at this coffee shop for 4 years, started in highschool, and quickly got promoted to shift manager and now assistant manager. He asked me about what I was up to because I haven't been social this past week. He is a friend so usually I talk to him for a while when there isn't other customers. I told him that I finally found something that I think is going to help me with online marketing. I told him that I finally got my foot in the door and was going to start out with affiliate marketing and then move onto network marketing.

He has been saving money for a while now, he has wanted to open his own coffee shop for a long time. He told me that he found a building that he looked at, I was happy for him so I asked if I could see it. He invited me to go see it on his lunch break. I was excited to see it, it was like having the privileged to see his dream come to life before it happened. Kind of like everyone here at WA, privileged with a premium account. We get access to help and all of the training, we can see that our success is in reach.

Anyways, we stayed on the subject of him finally opening his own business and then he says, "But I don't think it will last. I think I will fail, I have never owned a business and I have not taken any classes to get educated about it."

I was absolutely astonished because, like I said, I could never imagine that coming out of his mouth. My jaw dropped, I asked him what he would've said when he first got this job if his boss told him he would be promoted to assistant manager within a year. He tried changing the subject..... my point with this story is that we are capable of doing everything. Even the impossible.

Why do so many people think little of themselves? Sure, maybe you aren't the next Einstein but that doesn't mean you can't make a difference. Even if it is just a teeny tiny difference, like being a stay at home mom and helping your kids with homework. Everything is a domino effect, they will grow to remember that and stay passing it on. If you believe you can succeed then you will, and when you do someone will be inspired and they will go through the process.
