Does Backlinks for Directories still work?
I have a competitor who I noticed is always in the first page and top half all the time. Even though my content is better than his, I cant outrank him most times. This tells that there are more factors involved than just quality content.
Since backlinks plays an important role, I decided to take a look at his backlinks. To be honest, I was quite shocked when I looked at the results, he had over 200 backlinks( 278 to be exact)
Almost 90% of the links are from articles directories,

Ok, it seem like this guy is not punished by Google. Because he is almost found in position 1 or 2 on most of the articles even though he just recently published them.
So what do you guys think or using article directories, is it still working? Or am I missing a piece of the puzzle?

Try to understand this if this person is doing this watch because it can not last people are being cheated and sooner are later they will catch on and then watch how fast it falls .I have seen it happen more then once and as I have said it before fool me once shame on me fool me once twice fool on you there will not be a third time and you will see it will happen all the best Max
You absolutely do not want to do this, this sort of thing was discredited MANY years ago and anyone claiming that this still works is simply living in the dark ages.
