I Made a T-shirt for me to Promote WA!
Hello WA friends and community and happy Sunday!
I just wanted to do a quick post about getting Kyle's approval to use a WA logo to make a promotional t-shirt I can wear around, since I'm the "Vast T-shirts Guy" and where printing images on shirts is a big part of my business and niche.
I get business cards for my business from VistaPrint, (no, I'm not an affiliate for them... not yet, anyway) for a very reasonable price compared to my local print shops, and I can create and upload my own designs.
I recently modified my business cards to have my WA affiliate link on the bottom so that when someone asks about the shirt, I can just hand them one of my cards and direct them to the link printed there.
I know this is a meager marketing effort for WA, but my focus at this time is completing my training and building up my niche website before I proceed to the Boot Camp training and promoting WA with my other website.
I'll be getting to all of that soon enough, but in the meantime, perhaps I can get a few referrals with this different and meager approach, generating word-of-mouth advertising and, hopefully some interested parties.
Honestly, I just wanted to "sport" the WA logo to represent the platform and community that I love so much!
I'm not at all attempting to market these shirts, in fact, I neglected to ask Kyle what I should do if anyone asks me for one. Perhaps he'll read this and let me know? I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
By way of updating my progress... I recently got my 2nd official affiliate referral commission! Granted, it's not a lot, but it's progress nonetheless.
Also, my aftermarket screen sales continue to trickle in, and Etsy is doing their first ever Super Bowl commercial this year and implementing some new marketing features which they claim will bring our Etsy seller stores to larger audiences, etc. That will theoretically increase traffic and business to my own Etsy store and products. I'll keep you posted, of course.
Anyway, thanks for reading my post, and I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.
Kevin
