My Super Affiliate Journey - June Update

Hi guys,

It is now about 4 months since I got into the super affiliate challenge and so much happened, well, not so so much.

Just a few steps in the right direction.

Starting out in the beginning of the year when I got the official invitation to the challenge by Kyle, I was super excited!

I saw how the plane would move down to 0 and get the “You made it to Vegas” message from Kyle as I have seen on other people’s blogs.

I imagined how June would be filled with numerous referrals and boosted traffic.

I saw how I would have made my first premium referral, and hoping for the other free trial members to upgrade the soonest so that I could bag more.

Reality Or Imaginations?

At the moment, Pure imaginations!

I have not made a single free trial, let alone a premium sale.

I have not seen my traffic grow. I have not seen any major changes since I started working on my website.

But does that make me give up?

A big fat NO!

Major Lessons I Have Learnt Through This Year

See, online business is like any other business out there.

Before you start working on it, you have great dreams for it, great expectations.

But you don’t know how workable those goals and dreams are, until you actually get your hands dirty on the business.

That’s when you realize that there was an important bit of it you never knew that changes the whole equation.

And that bit increases your time to see the goals achieved and dreams realized.

That’s how you know you have now started growing.

What I Mean in a Nutshell

Today I had the biggest discovery in online businesses.

I looked through my progress with the super affiliate challenge and got a bit disappointed byt the slow progress I have made.

But then reflecting deeper on it, I learnt something that really encouraged me.

And I will try to put it as simplistic as possible.

Before you start your online business, you will have motivation and will feel a huge surge of energy.

You will make goals and see how easily achievable they are before you start working on them.

You will feel so inspired that you will only think about those goals.

BUT...

When you get to completing the tasks needed in your business, the whole story changes.

The tasks appear a little difficult, your goals seem a bit hard to achieve and the going gets a bit tough.

Now here is where most people fall off and call it quits.

But it’s where the journey begins.

It’s where you discover yourself as a fighter.

And if you don’t give up and choose to overcome the hurdles, one at a time, you will look back a few months from now and feel happy the challenges made you a more skilled businessperson.

My advice from a fellow disappointed soul to another heartbroken soul: Don’t jump out of the flame when you are almost cooked.

Just hold on a little longer!
