Finally: I've Made My First Sales on Amazon!
Hello WA family,
I just wanted to announce to you guys it has finally happened to me: I made my first affiliate sale! Actually, 2 sales on Amazon. OK, I've only earned $0,85 with them, but that's not the point. I'm extatic, because I've been waiting for so long to make my first affiliate sale.
The items I've sold are 2 children's books. They're not even the ones I've been promoting on my website, and this kind of shows how great Amazon is; a website visitor might purchase something else than you promoted, and you still get the commission.
This is also a relief because of the fact, that now I only need one more sale within a couple of months, and I won't be kicked out of Amazon affiliate program! Of course you can always re-apply, but it would be nice not to be kicked out.
I'm sooo happy, and this totally motivates me to keep on working with my website. Almost 50 posts on my unicorn website now, and I've finally made my first sale. ^^
So, I just want to say to all newbies: don't give up. You will make your first sale eventually too! It may take 50 posts or more to do that, so just keep working. It WILL pay off.

Thank you all! Later I actually checked on my Amazon account, and the items I sold were not children's books, but Winnie the Pooh tumblers or something like that. :D Not the items I was promoting at all, but sales are sales.
Of course, now the Amazon affiliate program is not lucrative anymore, but nevertheless, you never forget your first sales.
