Hello WA Family!

Hello all!

I don't blog very often so I figured now was as good a time as any as I sit here sipping a very smooth red wine, so here it goes!

I signed up with WA just under 2 months ago and so far I've loved it. The lessons have been very straight forward, informative, helpful and encouraging, so kudos to Kyle and Carson to what they've done.

Another thing that has actually blown me away is the community. I've joined other online communities, forums, websites and this community is like nothing I've ever seen. One big happy family (yes, I just referenced Barney).

I'm really glad I joined WA. I have a good amount of free time on my hands and most of it seems to be consumed by WA. I'm really enjoying it here and I hope everyone else feels the same.

I've seen my rank getting higher and higher (or technically lower I guess) and I see it getting closer and closer to 200. I think there are a lot more important things than rank, but I think it would be cool to be apart of the top 200 group. Top 200 out of several hundred thousand is pretty significant.

As for my actual site, I feel like I've made monumental progress. I feel so much more confident when writing new posts and comfortable with what I am doing. My site is hdtvtalks.com. I talk about HDTVs, how to find the right one for your needs, and things that you should consider before buying one. It's something I know a good amount about and I hope it has potential to make a bit of revenue. I feel like you have to keep working at it and find what works for you. There's no proven method for success other than hard work and determination, and that's what I'm all about. You know what they say, success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

One of my favourite quotes comes from Thomas Edison after he invented the lightbulb. While inventing it, he tried 10,000 different filaments until he found one that finally worked. When he was finished, a reporter asked him how it felt to fail 10,000 times and Edison responded: “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Trial and error until you find success.

As for revenue itself, I would be happy making any amount of money. I remember Kyle saying in the training to not get addicted to statistics, but I find myself checking my Google Analytics and Amazon Associates pages every day! When I see even $1 in my Amazon account I'll be happy. And I say "when" instead of "if" because I know that if I keep at it I'll eventually see progress and revenue.

To quote Bill Cosby: “In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.”

My desire to succeed is greater than anything and I'll keep working at this until I do. I hope everyone does the same and reaches higher than their goals.

I am relatively new to this site and affiliate marketing, but I do understand this stuff very well and am very passionate about it. If there's anything anybody needs help with, inside or outside of WA and the internet, please feel free to ask, I would be more than happy to help out as best I can.
