Fifth Month of WA - Getting Stronger
Hey everyone! It's my fifth month at WA so as always, I'm going to provide a little summary. If you haven't read my Fourth Month of WA, it might be a good idea to check it out.
This fifth month has definitely been better. During this month, I learned so many new techniques and internet marketing tactics such as Pinterest power, funnels, and email marketing. Now I've got a better idea of other ways I can expand.
And I definitely need to expand a little. So far, I still have zero affiliate commissions and it's already been five months. My badminton site is slightly dying so I need to get that back on track.
On the other hand, my money-niche site has been growing fast. Way faster than my badminton site when it was started. I guess it's purely based on how big a niche is.
Progress and Goals
Let's talk a little bit about my badminton site first. This was my first affiliate site ever created and it has been progressing at a fairly slow rate.
I haven't made any affiliate sales but I do have 19 cents on my Google Adsense account. It's not enough to pay-out but hey, it'll stack up eventually.
I desperately need a better way to drive traffic though. Unfortunately, I've found that making posts for this website is fairly difficult because it's very difficult to explain some things. Like how you're supposed to move on the court, hit the shots, and what the racket feels like when I'm doing reviews.
What I have been doing though, is pinning a lot more on my Pinterest. I only recently started so I don't have many followers, but I'm also optimistic about its growth.
With winter break coming up, I'm hoping to change up my site a little. I want to start a YouTube channel and try to incorporate badminton videos into my blog as well as linking my blog in the videos.
Another thing I intend to do is to write a bit about overall fitness. Since the badminton niche is sports related and I've already written lots about exercises that don't just apply to badminton, I feel adding a few general fitness articles will be good for my site's SEO. It'll also open up my affiliate options. (Currently only using Amazon)
As for KAZSMoney, my money-niche site, it's been growing steadily. I've written many posts over the past few weeks and I've figured out some more ways that I can add bonuses! I also found other extremely profitable affiliate programs that I can add to my site in conjunction with WA.
I've been doing the Affiliate Bootcamp as well for the past few weeks. I'm almost done part 4! There's lots of relevant information that's helping me build my site out. Soon enough, I'll make an affiliate sale for sure.
The main goals I want to complete for KAZSMoney for this month is one, finish the affiliate bootcamp, two, write more posts, and three, start a course. It's just an idea, but I feel like with a course, I can do lots more.
So just a recap, main goals for these two websites are to start a YouTube channel for badminton, promote fitness products, finish the Affiliate Bootcamp, start a course maybe, and just write more overall.
I also intend to build out two new sites before the year ends.
That's it! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
