Eleventh Month of WA - Sparks To Fire

Only one more month until being a full year into Wealthy Affiliate! Things are slowly building up and in this summer, I hope to make huge progress on my websites.

As always there are ups and downs, but this month had more ups than downs. Let's jump right in.

Progress And Numbers

Get Good At Badminton is the main focus this month as well. There were slight increases in both sales and traffic numbers but the main increase was in the social media.

By starting a giveaway, I was able to increase my Instagram to over 800 followers from 400ish. And as the giveaway continues, my Instagram account will only continue to increase.

My Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube increased but in low amounts as well. About 20 new subscribers to YouTube from 0, and 3-5 more followers for the other accounts.

Did I mention that I finally made my first YouTube video? This was the biggest milestone of this month. I uploaded it towards the end of June and it has about 85 views right now. Most of them come from incorporating the video into my giveaway page and one of my popular blog posts.

For traffic and sales, there were slight increases. Instead of one sale that I got last month, I was able to get 2 sales this month. It only amounts to less than two dollars though. I was averaging a little bit more people on my blog posts at about an increase of 10 per day. Running a giveaway certainly has its advantages too. The specific giveaway page got around 700 views since it started and that was about a week ago.

There are negatives this month however in the forms of the amount of posts I got out and my Pinterest. Because I spent so much time on the giveaway and making a video, the amount of posts slowed down severely and I stopped pinning as well. There weren't too much negative consequences however but I hope to improve these two aspects in the next few months.

Plans and Goals

For the next month, it's going to be all about this giveaway I'm running. My goal is to get 10,000 people onto an email list to eventually sell t-shirts and other affiliate offers to while learning new things about online marketing. To do this, I already have a Facebook ad running but I hope to make another ad specifically for Instagram.

For the next few months, getting the amount of posts I get out will be extremely important as well. Since it's summer vacation I hope that I will be able to get at least one post out every single day.

That also means I will start posting more on my other website.

Videos will also be important too... Time to get working!
