Certified Commenter Status Again!

Normally, I don't blog that much directly here on Wealthy Affiliate. Typically, I have one update blog post at the start of every new month and that's about it. But things are a little different now from what I have been doing. If you read my post, "Thirty-First Month of WA - Where My Focus Should Be," you'll know that I'm shifting away from Medium and focusing on the blogs I started on WA, such as the very first blog I started, Get Good At Badminton.

By focusing on the blogs that are hosted here on WA, I've been on the WA platform much more often than before. And by being here on the WA platform, one thing I have been playing around with a lot more is giving and requesting comments.

Getting Back On SiteComments

I have a lot of blogs. Too many in fact. A lot of people told me that I caught a little bit of shiny object syndrome. But I don't intend to get rid of any blogs. I plan to slowly grow all of them into passive income machines generating thousands of dollars per month.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... 10 blogs each generating thousands of dollars per month? Yep, I'll slow down a bit. The plan is to grow all my blogs to that state in a couple of years.

In one year's time, I'm focused on getting all my blogs monetized. Ideally, I would like all my blogs to be generating consistent traffic from search engines and making $10-$20 per month.

But even that would be somewhat of a stretch with all the other things I've got going on.

Nonetheless, I have been following my plan of getting all these blogs monetized. The monetization strategies I'm aiming for, such as Google Adsense, Amazon Associates, Udemy, etc., all have application processes where they want to see a site with blog posts and consistent traffic.

I've got the blog posts quantity side down as I slowly publish articles, but the consistent traffic part is a little worrying since I'm not putting out large volumes of SEO-optimized articles.

Thus, I thought of SiteComments (and SiteFeedback). I can use these features on WA to accelerate the growth of traffic on my websites. SiteComments is a wonderful give-and-take system. To request comments, I have to give them first, and thus, I've been spending a lot of time offering comments on people's websites.

Certified Again?

Within about two weeks' time, I became a certified commenter again. I totally forgot that you can make money offering comments here on WA.

I became certified once in the past but I stopped commenting as much when I realized you weren't always guaranteed $0.50 for every two comments offered as a certified commenter.

Some things happened in WA since then that made the SiteComments platform much better than before. One thing was the introduction of Premium Plus. Presumably, more money gets injected back into WA as more members upgrade to Premium Plus.

I noticed that there were a lot more websites to comment on. Previously, I would be the one running out of websites to comment on. Nowadays, I'm the person running out of energy to comment on websites.

Even if I didn't get paid to offer comments on people's websites, I would still probably do it for the give-and-take system. But being able to earn money offering comments on people's websites is a huge bonus.

Just being able to make an extra $5-$10 every day by commenting on people's websites would make a huge difference. I could use that cash to run some ads and grow my blogs even faster.
