They Say A Picture Paintts A Thousand Words - But what do you do if you can't see them

So. I was progressing steadily with the WA training and knocking down bariers to fears I had created about keyword research and SEO etc and now I've hit another block and this one is prooving more difficult for me to get over. I'm not sure wy it is except that it must be a fear of failure, looking stupid or simply making a mistake.

I am on the portion of the training that requires me to create a blog post and add images. The blog post itself will be no problem for me to do and I can have that knocked up in a matter of minutes. However, I'm putting it off and here's the reason why. I have to add images. I'm blind and do not have enough sight to see what the images are of. Nore do I have anyone with sight at my disposal so even if I did go ahead and creat the blog and upload what I believe to be appropriate images, I can't guarantee that they are appropriate, correct or even good enough quality. I can overcome the quality issue by looking at the details to see how large they are etc but the other stuff? There's no way.

I know this is absolutely ridiculous. I've uploaded images before and I never had a worry about it but now I do. Can anyone suggest how I can ensure my pictures are what I want them to be?

I'd love to get over this barrier and I intend to but if anyone has any suggestions then I'd love to hear them.

Thanks so much

You can use Microsofts CaptionBot, it's free, and it's an automated tool that enables you to upload a picture & it will use AI to best describe it, just like as if it were a human describing it.

Here's the link: https://www.captionbot.ai/

I hope that helps! :)

Wow! I never knew about this. Let me check it out.

Do you have to upload the pic or can you submit an URL? I'm thinking for the sake of images for my blogpost having to download and then submit would be long-winded whereas if I could simply paste in the URL like it seems to indicate with the edit field there, this might be quicker?

You can submit a URL or upload :)

Well, i thought I'd found an image of wikimedia but caption bott says it really can't describe the image. :-(

Perhaps you could get in touch with someone here at WA; ideally your mentor (whoever referred you to WA) and each time you're about to publish a post, have them quickly check over the images to make sure they're relevant?
