My Site Is Indexed
Wow! I've just got the email that says my new website has been indexed by google. While I'm not sure exactly what that means, I'm guessing it's like google knows I exist or something. I look back over the last 9 days and while my steps are baby ones, my progress feels massive.
When I joined I was doing it just to pass the time, desperately clinging to the dream of the laptop lifestyle but not really believing I could do it, while I waited to see if this other job comes up. I also joined another free affiliate program but as soon as I dove in here I knew which one was for me.
It's the little things like this that keep you going. It's the little tiny rewards or ePats on the backthat let you know you're on the right road. I'm happy as a pig in muck it's got to be said.
Over the last 9 days I've got my little website up and running, posted my second article, given feedback to others and received some great support and recognition. I'm still not entirely sure what's going on with the job I think I've got but now instead of thinking of shift work, I'm thinking that WA might be my saviour. That even if I have to commute 2 hours per day and do the shift work thing for a while, I might just be able to walk away once this little website of mine starts to create an income for me. NO boss, no people doubting my abilities to hold down a job, just writing, which I thought maybe i wasn't good at until I found the right niche and the right tools.
Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to these tiny steps to success that I'm taking on a daily basis. It means such a lot.

I will. I already have 2 articles up there but procrstinating now because I know the next one is going to be difficult. It involves images. As someone who is blind I find images really difficult. Sure, I can find and download them and even add them to my site but it's whether I@ve got the images in the right place, whether the image looks okay etc etc etc. But thanks, I will keep plodding onward.

Thank you. Tomorrow will be my biggest challenge yet. Images. No matter how I look at this, it doesn’t work well if you can’t say. I will be counting on some support I think :-)
