Suspicious link!
Hello fellow Wealthy Affiliates,
I was hoping someone might be able to explain this link? I will try to explain how I discovered this. I was having a look at my site health and next to my Google Rank it had 100%, so I clicked on the link to google.com and the results are here for you to see.
The second 2 results are mine but when I clicked on the one I have circled, it went to the next screenshot (which isn't my site), but it says 'Brought to you by www.howtoretireearly.org - which is my site. When I click on that link, it does take me to my site.
I was wondering if anyone can explain this? Is this a backlink? and should I be worried about it? I was also curious about the 100% google rank. I only started the site 2 months ago. I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Wordpress websites are, in general, susceptible to spam and spurious commentary. Unless you pick a complex theme that lets you block spam comments, you're going to get this stuff.
Hey Kerry it looks like some kind of backlink. I agree with Shawn. I'm learning that people do some strange stuff on the net. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
It looks like someone re posted your post at that blogspot addy and that re post got ranked, lol. Are you more confused now? lol
I have to admit Shawn, I am a little. Do you know if this is a good thing or not? And I'm still not sure about the 100% ranked. I am getting some traffic, but only a small amount.
I would say it is harmless myself, it would be a back link. As far as the 100 percent, are you seeing that on the Google results?
when I click on the link on my site health it comes up on the first page, 2nd and 3rd spots, but not if I do a basic google search. Thanks for always being around to help Shawn.
