I am not sure what exactly you mean? But if you mean import plugin that allows you to restore your website then WA does support it. I personally did it and it worked well.

I stumbled on Sellfire today, and saw this question. I'm disappointed that nobody answered. I'll try to figure out if it makes "outgoing calls" or not, but was hoping for more info from someone who already knew! :)

I don't know how far down the track you are but if you have completed some of the Affiliate Bootcamp exercises and watched some of the video's you want know what plugin are? I suggest you take everything one step at a time and when you get to the part about plugins you will know that plugins can really assist you with SEO and other things. I wanted to use a plugin that would not be supported by WA, but I have found another one that will be able to download data to a file and I can drop and drag the information onto my website to display products that I will be selling on my websites.
I will unfortunately have to buy it as some plugins are extra's.

Plug-ins make me nervous. Are they a YEA or a NO WAY? Will they do what they said honestly? Or, will they cause me and the community problems.?

You can manage this with Woo Sidebars http://wordpress.org/plugins/woosidebars/ there's information on the integration here: http://www.woothemes.com/woosidebars/ However, do keep an eye on your load times, especially with shared hosting, as doing this can seriously impact on how fast your site loads, which is a ranking metric with search engines. :) Rich.

I'd probably try not putting them in the sidebar then. The basic purpose of most sidebars is to have a static presence of the materiel there on all pages. You might want to consider a theme without a sidebar. You can easily add a banner to any individual post or page by adding Media.

You can use Display Widgets plugin to change your sidebar content for different pages, categories and custom taxonomies. http://wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets/

I've actually had mine for quite some time and don't remember where I got them. I believe they were from a free clipart site a long time ago. I hope these links work, if they do here are links to individual stars that I don't mind sharing. They have transparency around them so they should work with most themes, etc.
