Website Redesign
Hi all,
I spent some time today trying to get my blogroll to look better and deciding whether or not I want it as my home page. I played around with themes and finally found one that I think works well with my content. If you have a minute, please take a look at www.thewealthywife.com and leave me comments either here or on the site itself. I am open to constructive criticism if there is something I can improve.

The only thing I noticed was the image of you on the right sidebar links to: http://thewealthywife.com/www.thewealthywife.com where it should like to: http://www.thewealthywife.com/about-me
Also, below that image, you have some text that says:
read my About Me page here: http://www.thewealthywife.com/about-me
Consider linking the words that say About Me instead.

Thanks, Jay. I was trying to figure out how to do a link within that text. I may just link the picture as directed above, and then say click on the picture to learn more about me. Thank you for your input!
Love your site. Left you a comment. For me I thought you could use a little color around the border of your site. Something light just to break up some of the white. All in all its a beautiful site with really well written content.

I meant to share that I actually leveraged my site to get me a freelance writing project on the side! I am excited as it will lead to more income for me and my family!
Hi, Kelly. Looks like I'm first. I do like the site. I like that you've got your picture on the front page and that takes you to the "about me" page. Personally I don't like that I've got that page highlighted in my top menu. It takes a prominent place and the picture you've got on your front page is much more inviting than a menu item.
Some of the text is very light (at least on my screen. That could be an issue.
I'm still figuring out those featured pictures alongside the post. Can't seem to get mine to work. I'm using Childishly Simple theme. It's got lots of things to change in the option and it may be too many - but I'm sticking with it because I'm tired of fussing.

I'm thinking of changing the basic structure to make more sense to the reader, but I haven't come up with what that should be.

Thanks for following! I did end up putting my about me page on the bottom in the footer. It just didn't make sense at the top. I do need to revisit the text color as it is a bit light. It does take some time experimenting with themes before you find the one you like. Keep at it--your site is looking good!
I think it's a HUGE improvement over what you had before. To be honest, I would leave the home page as a blog roll. Your doing a great job with this site.
