I am very excited to share that by sharing my own very-much-a-work-in-progress-website with a neighbor (who happens to own her own internet marketing company!), I was able to land a freelance writing job from one of her clients! I have had to put my own content creation exercises and WA stuff on the back burner for a few days, but I finished it tonight, and I think it turned out well. I just hope the client feels the same way.
The even better news is she offered me a lot more than I expected! Even though it's not from my own website yet, it's my first BIG commission from my online journey to success, and a step in the right direction. If I can keep her happy and get more jobs, I will continue to feel more confident in my writing skills and apply that to my own site. I have renewed my faith that this WILL work for me. I just need a little more time.
