So today is my 3rd day in my 30 day challenge of writing content for my site each day. 10% finished already! I made a list of things I have been writing about so I don't have to go through the brainstorming process each day. I have noticed my keyword researching is getting easier as I learn more and more what I am doing, and how to find that low hanging fruit. I am excited to see how my site looks after this month of writing!

I would like to add more product reviews to the site. What tips do you have for reviewing products/services you have not personally tried?

I don't usually review things I haven't tried, but if you have to. . . I would get a few different viewpoints on it. Things that have charts that make them easy to compare are good. Go out on line and look for as many reviews as you can. You should get an idea of what's going on.

I am trying to review products I have tried first, but after I run out of those ideas I was looking for others.

27 to go

only a few more lol hopefully it becomes a good habit that I can pick back up after the baby is born and I am in a routine again.

Congrats!

Thanks!

Well I felt a tad bit uncomfortable writing my own reviews just yet since I have not actually tried the products, so I went with video reviews from You Tube for now, there are a great deal of people that have tried the product and are very in tune with the product. Till I have the capacity to try it myself this is how I decided to rock and roll with my reviews.

This is a good idea too! Do you just embed a YouTube video on your review page? Thanks for sharing.

Just highlight the you tube video URL and then go to your add media edit mode and paste it there and title it how you wish it to look. I try to be consistent with the titles and how they look to the viewers or audiences visual perception.

Kelly, I also wanted to know the answer to this (re.your last para) and the advice given me was to go to a store that sells the product and talk to the sales person. Ask her to show you the product. (Take a note book) and have a good look and feel of it (whatever it is) and see if the sales person can give you her opinion as well and jot it all down. You will also personally have some input and instinctively know how you feel about the product. Best if the product is something you have used before only a different brand or model.
Best I can do until I know which type of products you want to review. Hope that helps. Cheers, Simon

Thanks Simon! This is a good tip. What is your niche?

Photography, (niche) High dynamic range. I will go to local camera stores. Cheers. S.

Books are always good to review, and there are in any niche books for sale :) Loes

Thanks for the tip!

Awesome.Well done Kelly.

Good job.

Your site is looking really great. I love your "stories". Melody

Thank you, Melody! I like to apply everyday situations to business life. I think it makes it easier to relate to my audience.

Nice work!!

Thanks! I hope as I continue it gets to be more of a habit and easier!
