Changing face of employment

Many today are in institutions of higher learning to acquire skills that may be required in employment after schooling.

What is prevailing now is that not everyone with requisite skills find preferred jobs (the stats say 1out of 8 are able to find what they want and do). The makeshift job offers are themselves limited.

In fact, people are encouraged into entrepreneurship, as a way to get roped in employment. Evidence show that even now 1 out of 15 get to find employment, and so there is a mass number of unemployment around.

Expected trend

With the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), the scale of employment change is going to go up and impact severely on existing jobs and opportunities. It will also change the face of new employment openings.

The expected trend is forecast for 2022 - so close yet no significant response as far as skill set change is concern. Our schools are slow to perceive the change and so lay back with innovations.

Expected impact

More people will lose opportunity to work in employment, particularly people in administration, manufacturing, sales and marketing, those with low to medium skills, systems, substantial reduction of managerial roles in workplaces.

Also, the effect are the danger of losing spending power, and the mass introduction of government increased welfare benefit?

Mist all the happenings, consumption needs of society will go up and sales deals with packages to entice purchases of goods and services will rise.

What do these mean?

We must share knowledge and reposition ourselves away from existing orthodox learning practices, and look to engaging in the emerging trends.

The future is by far reliant on internet high-speed trading and my prediction is that many more people are going to shift towards that. Perhaps affiliate marketing is likely to find a significant platform with growing numbers ever seen.
