Need to perfect use of videos on my website.

I recently discovered that the video I put on the front page of my website at cloverchess.com is causing a significant increase in website loading time. In fact it's adding something like 2 or 3 seconds to the time it takes to render the page. This is probably because the server has to go off to Youtube and fetch information connected with the video before it can render the page.

What I currently have on my site is imbedded code on a web page that directs the server to get the video off of Youtube. What I would like to have on my site is a video that I could actually store in my computer just like a picture file and the rendering of the video would not be dependent on the server going off and fetching information from Youtube. Does anyone out there know of a good way to do this? I'm going to be looking for that because I consider the loss of 2 or 3 seconds to render the page unacceptable.
