Copy writing the right way - some little reminders.

Hi Everybodies!
The following is definitely not by me, but I think it's a great reminder for You to think about when You are writing a blog post for Your website or even here at WA. It took me some time to understand every article...
1. Avoid alliteration. Always.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. Avoid clichés like the plague. They’re old hat.
4. Comparisons are as bad as clichés.
5. Be more or less specific.
6. Writers should never generalize.
Seven: Be Consistent!
8. Don’t be redundant; don’t use more words than necessary; it’s highly superfluous.
9. Who needs rhetorical questions?
10. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
I hope this enlightens a little bit how good copy writing could be done.
Cheers,
Kay
PS: A little update here: 2 commenters (JPride & ContentBySue) mentioned great apps to check the spelling and Your grammar while writing. Check them out, they seem to be completely free (no guarantee that there will be no upgrade options ever).
