I think I concur with you Katugasan.
It is better to know people's real problems and help them out than give them empty hopes and prayers at a time when they needed real help.

It was on our evangelism to a remote village where I once pastored a church in Nigeria, when others were busy praying to a sick woman, either Spiritually, or psychologically, all I can see in her spirit was hunger and it was written all over her.

I stopped that prayer and called her 'woman, where are your husband and children?' She told us that she was a widow and that her children are in the city.

All I did was offer her 30k Nigerian Naira to go back into trading Since she told us she was once a local trader.

To my amazement, the woman that we thought was so ill jumped up in the excitement and told us that it was God that sent us because she had prayed for 2 years for help with her trading business that stopped after the death of her husband.

It is wisdom and love to apply action than words.

Thanks for that. We all want to be wanted and to be loved. It's terrible when you have no one to love or to get love from.
