Special Words To WA Friends
Serious winter has hit my farm. The trees are coated with an inch of white, adorning every branch and tiny twig . All would call it a winter wonderland, for it makes you draw breath at the simple beauty, the wonder that is Earth.
Have you ever noticed the hush when snow is falling? Technically, the flakes absorb sound, and with so many millions drifting down, that's a lot of absorption, but I always thought it was the collective consciousness holding its breath that created the hush.
Here at my farm in the Shuswap, on Christmas day, one can stand outside and hear, nothing. How wonderful. Makes me feel happy inside knowing that truckers and train men and workers everywhere, are with their children and family on this day, no-matter-what !!
I really wanted to say that I feel the Christmas spirit moving over the land, entering homes and towns everywhere. And I trust, this Wealthy Affiliate group that I'm a part of.
If your going to be part of an online community, It's a darn good one to choose. Certainly seems to attract interesting people! We're a diverse lot here, and I love it how each person shows a small glimpse into their lives and who they are, and what they have been through in their bios and websites, and blogs.
Because of joining this WA platform I have a chance to know so many interesting life stories! I read bios and am moved to tears by the amazing events people go through in their lives. And everyone so different! As fun to me as sitting on the corner, watching people pass by, is following threads through WA, on each one people that need to be in my network! I read the bio, and if I like it, I start to follow. I'm sure we all do the same, I'm just saying I find it fun, and fascinating, searching the WA sea for persons I want to be connected with, start following their journey, and perhaps over time become a friend.
That's all I wanted to say. Also wishing everyone here a really wonderful Christmas full of love.
Tomorrow the CP Rail Holiday Train goes through my town. This is a fabulous Canadian tradition, and I leave all my friends here at WA a link to a short movie about the Holiday Train. This time of year is about giving and helping your fellow human, and the Holiday Train is an exemplary project.

Have a blessed season !!
My friend used to say, "if I don't see you in a week, I'll see you in the window"... It's quite silly really, but we always laughed.
:D

Well, I guess I'll see you in the window...
Thanks for this post. Good to learn you are a people observer. Yes, we are certainly interesting creatures. I'm with you -- there are so many great stories hidden inside people that we don't know until we start asking them pointed questions.
For the year before I started with WA, I was doing interviews with people here in my small community for a website, because I've found that they have fascinating stories. It's a great way to find out who a person really is.
Fran, I just feel love every time I see your smiling picture and read your words.
Thank you for that
:)
Have a great Christmas!
Kathleen
I love it when the snow blankets the countryside, the world hushes, and well... silence. Have you ever noticed that it hurts sometimes? I have. It is unsettling but if I can pull myself into a calm it is the best thing ever.
Merry Christmas!
To your Happy, Healthy, and Wealthy,
Kathy
Thank you ...,
Just watched the Holiday Train ... the smiles on the children’s faces is worth the watch ... a great Holiday Tradition
Pretty neat and helping so many at the same time ... I love the quiet when it’s snowing ... grew up in Northern Michigan .. lived in the UP of Mich for number of years ... it is a “hush” ....
thanks for sharing
WA is a great community to share with

That sounds lovely, Kathleen, holiday train going through your town. We also have snow in the area where I live and it does look nice here as well.
I share your feelings how wonderful it is to be in this place full of interesting people.
Have a wonderful weekend!
