Using Images from "We Heart It"
For anyone who is taking & using images from "We Heart It" for their sites, below is the reply I received from them regarding this ..

Hello,
We Heart It is a bookmark site, where people can favourite images they like from other sites, to share and remember.
We don't have the rights of the image, nor direct contact with the person who owns it.
If you click on an image, on the page that will open you'll the link of the site where it was taken from.
There you can try to find the owner of the image.

I hope this helps y'all & I would probably consider either making an attempt to contact the copyright holders of the images that you are using, Or perhaps remove them from your websites. Copyright issues would suck??
I would assume this also applies to other social networks.

If someone shares their own image on this site, they do so with the expectation that others may use it. At least that is what the Terms of Use say. There is no problem with using those images. The problem comes when someone posts an image that they DON'T own on the site . If they don't get the permission of the owner, then they don't have the right to share it on the We Heart It site or anywhere else. A lot of people may be posting copyrighted images without being aware that they are violating the law. If we take those images and try to use them, then we are also violating the law.
