I'm Still Here - Just Been Busy With My Websites and Life
I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here...in case you noticed I've been silent the last couple of weeks. Things have just been crazy.
For Starters
I was doing pretty well at indexing on Google quickly on all my posts until I submitted my sitemaps. Ugh! What a disaster. I stopped indexing, so knew something was wrong. I looked at my search console and had warnings on both sites about excluded pages.
I spent some time here searching the tutorials and found an updated training video using the all in one sitemap instead of the Google XML Sitemap plugin. I then waited a few days and still had the problem. Search for a few more tutorials because everything I read online was like reading Greek or Latin...it made no sense. Made a few more adjustments.
I am finally starting to index again, but very slowly. Most of the warnings are gone, so I'm hopeful I'll be back on track soon.
Then There's Life
I'm also in full swing planning for Christmas. Instead of Spring cleaning I always do Christmas cleaning. I just love having a spotless house through Christmas and the New Year...of course that means climbing latters to clean everything high that doesn't get cleaned all the time. I have 11 foot ceilings, so it's a chore!
I also finished the decorations and got cards in the mail last week.
I'm getting there! I'll just be glad when I can concentrate more on my websites, but so thankful I can take the time away to do what I need to do.
This Week's Accomplishments
I published a post on one of my sites yesterday and researched for a post on my other site today. I'll write and hopefully publish that post tomorrow.
My house is starting to look what I call "company clean", so now I can concentrate on thinking about Christmas lunch.
Anyway...
You may or may not have missed me, but I've missed you! I might get quite for a few days...or a couple of weeks...but I'm not going anywhere...I'm here to stay!
