My Musings about Mentoring
After Kyles' second class on PPC campaigns it dawned on me:
When I do this right, I will get referrals here on WA !
Duh. That's the whole point of my advertising budget, I know! But there is a difference between abstract knowledge and really feeling the impact of a situation.
In my mind, I imagined having 3 referrals going Premium in the next 6 weeks, quite a pleasant daydream. All of a sudden I realized that I would be the mentor of these new subscribers to Wealthy Affiliate...
My first reaction to this thought: Oh my goodness, I am not ready for that, I am a beginner in affiliate marketing myself.
Luckily this stressful thought was directly followed by some more confident ones:
I am self-employed for nearly 2 decades, and managed years ago to organize my work in a way that gave me lot of time and freedom to travel.
In the last two years I managed to become location independent, although very WiFi dependent, by shifting my career; I worked online from Portugal, Greece, the Baltic States, Thailand, and Indonesia last year.
So, when it comes to Working Remote while Traveling, I know a thing or two - on this subject I can be a Mentor.
Furthermore, I am active within the WA community and follow at least 3 classes every week. I don't have to be an expert in SEO, Canva, PPC, Alphabet Soup, Niche finding, YouTube, email marketing, back links, algorithms and so on.
I KNOW EXPERTS ON THESE SUBJECTS, within the WA community.
All I have to do, is to connect with 'my' future newbies here on WA, and direct them to relevant blog posts, classes, community members.
And if I fail to know the answer, there will always be this fantastic community, plus Kyle and Carson, as super mentors, to back me up.
So, I guess I am ready for the next step in this course: set up my Google Ads Dashboard. I won't get an anxiety attack anymore if somebody actually subscribes here with my link ;-)

Totally, but I change the "If" to "When."
The potential leverage opportunities are endless. All the best to you on your online journey and business endeavors.
Oh, Thanks Abie, I think I will even change it in my post and not only in my head. That's better for programming my mind for success!!
